What New Horizon Repair Services collects when you use this website or send an estimate request, what we do with it, and the choices you have. Effective .
Who we are
New Horizon Repair Services is a remodeling contractor based in Orange County, CA. This policy covers the website at newhorizonrepairservices.com. Questions about it go to the email or phone number under Contact at the end of this page.
The short version: the only personal information this site asks for is what you type into the estimate form. We use it to reply to you and prepare your estimate. Google cookies count visits and the requests that come from our Google ads, and you can turn them off. We do not sell personal information.
The estimate form
The estimate form asks for your name, your phone number and a short message about what you need. It opens in a panel over the page when you press Get a Free Estimate, and it is also embedded on the contact page. We ask for these because they are what we need to call you back, talk through the project and visit the space for a free estimate. The form does not ask for a street address or any payment details.
The form is not part of this website. It is supplied and run by our marketing agency on the HighLevel platform, and it loads from api.thetrenchops.com inside a frame. What you type goes to them, not through this site's own server, and they pass it to us. Their page may set its own cookies and load its own fonts while it is open, which is outside this site's control.
The form has a tick box for agreeing to be contacted, and it says that by giving your phone number you agree to receive text messages from the business. Ticking it is how we are allowed to text you about your estimate. You can tell us to stop at any time, by replying STOP to a message, by calling (628) 291‑5490 or by emailing contact@newhorizonrepairservices.com.
There is a second, separate form, the private feedback form on our review page. That one does run on this site. It asks for your name, phone, email, city and your message, and a star rating if you picked one. A few technical details travel with it: the page it was sent from and the time the page was opened help us tell a person from an automated script, and a hidden field that only scripts fill in does the same job. Your IP address is used to limit how many requests one connection can send in a short time and to drop an exact duplicate sent twice in a row; both checks live in the form handler's memory for minutes and are not written to a database. If we turn on Cloudflare Turnstile, a spam check, that form will also send Cloudflare a token proving the request came from a browser, under Cloudflare's privacy policy.
How requests are delivered and kept
An estimate request goes into the HighLevel account our marketing agency runs for us, where it is stored as a contact record so we can work it and keep track of the conversation. That is a change from how this site used to work, and it means your details sit in that system rather than only in an inbox.
A private feedback message is different: the website does not store it. It turns it into an email and sends it to contact@newhorizonrepairservices.com through an email delivery service, Resend (or Web3Forms, where that is the service set up on the server). The email's reply address is the one you typed. The delivery service processes the message only to deliver it, under its own privacy policy.
We keep your request, that email, and any messages that follow, for as long as we need them to handle your enquiry and to keep records of the project. You can ask us to delete them at any time; see California privacy rights below. The feedback form handler writes a short log line for each attempt so we can fix delivery problems. It records the project type, city and IP address. Your name is left out, and any email address or phone number that reaches a log is masked.
Calls and emails
If you call (628) 291‑5490 or write to contact@newhorizonrepairservices.com instead of using the form, we keep your number or address and what you told us so we can respond and follow the project. Photos you send us of your kitchen, bathroom, pool or yard are used to prepare the estimate. We do not publish photos of your home without asking you first.
Cookies and analytics
This site sets no cookies of its own. Our own fonts are hosted on our own server, so no font provider sees your visit to these pages. The estimate form is the exception: it is someone else's page shown inside a frame, and while it is open it may set its own cookies and load its own fonts. That only happens once you open the form.
We advertise on Google, and we use Google's tag to learn which ads led to an estimate request or a tap on the phone number. We may also use Google Analytics 4 to see which pages are read and which buttons are used. These load when you open the site, and the first time a banner says so and offers Decline. They set Google cookies in your browser (names starting with _gcl_ for Google Ads and _ga for Analytics) and send Google your page views, the ad you clicked if you came from one, and those actions. Like any request to Google, they carry your IP address. We look at totals, not at what one person did.
Ad personalization is switched off. Nothing this site sends is used to build an ad profile about you or to show you our ads elsewhere, and we build no remarketing lists.
Choosing Decline stops the Google tags from loading on every page after that and removes the Google cookies this site set. Your choice is stored in your browser's local storage (under the name nh_cookie_consent) so the banner does not come back on every page. To change it, use the Cookie settings button in the footer. Google describes its side in its notice on sites that use Google services.
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, the site treats it as Decline: nothing from Google loads unless you choose OK under Cookie settings. The site does not read Do Not Track.
Third parties
These companies handle data on our behalf so the site can work:
- Hosting. The site and the form handler run on Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel's servers see the address of your connection, your browser type and the pages you request, and may keep that in access logs for a limited time under Vercel's privacy policy.
- The estimate form. HighLevel, through our marketing agency's
api.thetrenchops.comdomain, shows the form and stores what you send so we can follow it up and reply, including by text message if you agreed to that. - Email delivery. Resend (or Web3Forms, where that is the service set up) carries a private feedback message from the site to our inbox.
- Ad measurement and analytics. Google Ads conversion tracking and, if we turn it on, Google Analytics, unless you decline, as described above.
- Spam check. Cloudflare Turnstile, if we turn it on, verifies that a form submission came from a browser.
The site also links to places we do not control: Synchrony, for financing applications, and our Google and Yelp profiles, where you can read or leave a review. Each has its own privacy policy, and what you do there is between you and them. We do not sell personal information, we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not use what you send us for advertising.
California privacy rights
This is our notice at collection under California law. The categories of personal information this site collects are identifiers (name, phone number, email address), project details (city, project type, budget range, your description, and how you heard about us), and internet activity (your IP address, browser and requested pages in server logs, plus Google ad and analytics measurement unless you decline it). We collect them to reply to you, prepare and deliver an estimate, communicate about a project, keep the site secure and, unless you decline, measure how the site and our ads are used. We keep them as long as described under how requests are delivered and kept. We do not sell this information or share it for targeted advertising.
If you live in California you can ask us:
- what personal information we hold about you and where it came from;
- to correct it if it is wrong;
- to delete it, unless we need it to finish work you asked for or to keep records the law requires.
We do not treat you differently for asking.
To make a request, email contact@newhorizonrepairservices.com or call (628) 291‑5490. To confirm it is you, we match the name, email address or phone number you used when you contacted us. Someone acting for you can make the request with your written permission. We confirm that we received the request and then answer it by email or phone. Some of these rights apply by law only to businesses above a certain size; we handle requests the same way either way.
Children
This site is for adults planning work on a home or a business. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a minor has sent us information, email us and we will delete it.
Security
The site is served only over HTTPS. The form accepts submissions from this site only, limits how many requests a connection can send, and the keys that let it send email are kept on the server, never in the pages you download. Email still travels through other companies' servers on its way to us, so if you would rather not send project details over the internet, call us instead of using the form.
Changes to this policy
When this policy changes, we post the new version on this page with a new effective date at the top. If we add a tool that handles your information differently, for example a hosted form service, we update this page before it goes live.
