Before a kitchen, a bathroom or a whole home gets torn out, we settle with you what changes, what it will be finished with and in what order the work happens. That plan becomes the written estimate, and estimates are free.
What we do
The part of the remodel that happens at the table
Interior design and planning are one service here. It is the work done before the first cabinet comes off the wall, and it decides most of what the finished room looks like.
- Scope. We walk the space with you and write down what changes and what stays. In Corona that list ran from the kitchen to the front planters. In Aliso Viejo it was one bathroom.
- Layout. Where the walls, the shower, the sink and the range go. In Aliso Viejo the jetted tub and corner shower came out, and the same wall became a walk-in shower with a full-height wall and an open alcove beside it.
- Finishes. Cabinets, counters, tile, flooring, fixtures and paint get chosen before work starts, so the estimate names real items. The navy raised-panel cabinets and patterned backsplash in Corona, or the black vanity with brushed-gold faucets in Aliso Viejo, are the kind of choices we mean.
- Sequence. Which room goes first and what has to be done before the next step can start. In a whole home that order matters more than in a single bath, and it is set before the first day.
- Budget range. The range you give us shapes the options we bring. A rough range is enough at the start, and it can move once the estimate is on paper.
- Written estimate. The plan becomes the estimate. Nothing is built until you approve it.
